Thanks so much Jon! I scan all of my paintings, I have a professional scanner in my studio. Makes it a lot easier to get them into the computer!

I find I can really get more vibrant color with oils. I find it more difficult with acrylics, not sure why! Give oils a try! I think you will love them. Totally different process, almost a completely opposite medium. I still paint in both depending on what look I am going for. I find I love acrylics to paint on plywood. They totally lend themselves to wood. They sink in and work well with the texture. Go for it Teshia!!!

Oh wow, well that makes it even more impressive then!! I paint in acrylics, so am unfamiliar with the oil process, but there is definitely just something so beautiful about a vibrant oil painting.. And you sure did a great job on this one! Props also for having that patience! You must work on several pieces at a time, I assume. I think I am too impatient for oils...sometimes I "muddy" up my acrylic pieces because I can't even stand to wait for those to dry lol. ;) I guess I need to invest in some more easels & learn to work around the room on different pieces. :) Anyway, LOVE your work!!

Thanks so much Teshia! These were a total labor of love. I did them in oils so you know I have to wait to put each layer on until they dry! Took a couple of months to complete the series!

LOVE THIS ONE!! Beautiful use of color against the dark background. The martini looks delicious:), and is alive with color & energy. The bright oranges are lovely & further enhance the vibrant colors in the martini. Your swirls of color are just awesome. Fabulous piece, Debbie :) voted & f/v! ~Teshia
