This image is about reminiscing over old photographs and memories. Pearls, grapes, and old photographs sit atop a weathered table. This is a photograph I have been wanting to create for a long time, as the vintage photograph on the table is my favorite picture of my mother. It was taken by my grandfather when my mother was two years old. She is now 83 years old. I handmade a filter to give my photograph the old fashioned, dreamy effect I was looking for. Featured in the Experimental Photography group.

I first fell in love with photography when my father taught me how to develop film when I was very young. Through the years, that love has continued to grow. I am still amazed by how a photograph, a single image, can convey such emotion, feelings, or spark a fond memory. Photography is always evolving and I feel blessed to work in a field that allows me the opportunity to learn and grow with it. I am happy as long as I have a camera in my hand, but I am especially passionate about macro and up close photography. I work primarily as a stock photographer and sell my photographs all over the world. I describe my style as: Bold. Color. Detail.
