Description

A Masai giraffe (giraffa camelopardalis tippelskirchi) is captured with his tongue out as he licks a tree. I was thrilled to capture this giraffe with his tongue out. It is assumed the black color of a giraffe's tongue is to protect it from the sun since it gets so much exposure. This looks great as wall art, a puzzle, a coffee mug, zippered pouch, carry-all tote, and much more.
